Enramycin is a peptide antibiotic synthesized by actinomycetes (Streptomyces fungicidicus). It is a peptide antibiotic with unsaturated fatty acids combined with more than a dozen amino acids. The main components are enramycin A and B, which are their salts. Acid form application. White or yellowish white powder (the crude product is gray or taupe powder, with a special smell). Decomposed at 234~238°C, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, slightly soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, insoluble in acetone.
